Part of my series: Everyone Told Me to Delete TikTok. I Refused. Here Are 10 Reasons Why.
2026 is my year of health.

Not just exercise — food too. And those who know me know that my husband does most of the cooking at home. I am more of a grab-it-fast, eat-it-faster kind of person. Always go go go. Cooking has never really been my thing.
But earlier this year I needed inspiration. Specifically for breakfasts and snacks — the meals nobody was handling for me.
So I went to TikTok.
And that’s when Bethany Frankel appeared on my feed with her Supermodel Snacks series. Simple food. High protein. Low calorie. Nothing complicated. The kind of thing you can pull together in minutes without a culinary degree.
I was hooked.
The more I watched, the more the algorithm understood what I needed — fast, healthy, simple. Soon I was also following a web series called Healthy Snacks for Lazy Bitches. Same energy. Real food. No fuss. Meal prep you can actually stick to.
What surprised me most was this — watching these videos made me want to eat better. Not out of guilt. Out of genuine curiosity. It looked good. I wanted to try it.
And that is what I love most about it. It ticks so many boxes for me personally. The recipes are fast — which if you know me, is non negotiable. They sparked my curiosity — because I am always looking for something new to try. And they actually worked — because inspiration you can implement immediately is the only kind worth having.
Sometimes the best wellness coach is a well trained algorithm.
Next week: Reason 4 of 10.
